the first one
OH OH OH OH OH. I feel sorry for the youth of today for they will never have the conversation topic starter that is 'what was the first single you bought?'. 'What was your first download?' just doesn't do it. You've probably guessed that the above was mine. Classic right?!
So, what was yours? If it's super cool I'll award you 10 Krafty points. You lucky things!

mmmm...goodies
Hooray! I got my hi, friend goodies in the post (mentioned here) and I LOVE them. I can highly recommend the sage basil mint candle. I can actually NOT stop sniffing it!
tietastic
Whomever may be next out on the town with me, get ready for a glittery tie sensation! How awesome are these DIY t-shirts? OK so they're meant for kids but I'm feeling I could pull them off.
Get the DIY instructions from momtastic.

sneek peek
The weekend just gone was quite productive on the ol' creativity front. Here are a couple of sneek peeks into what I'm up to at the moment.

progress indeed
I know I'm a bit behind and this album has been out a while now but this weekend I totally obsessed over the new Take That album Progress. It's like I had regressed to being fifteen, playing their album over and over again. Ah good times (now where are my posters & scrapbooks?!). Kidz is by far my favourite track. It's a proper stompy tune.

starry starry walls
All Star wallpaper £65 per roll
I'm just a bit in love with this All Star wallpaper from Barneby Gates (great name) which comes in two colour options candy & gunmetal. Yum.
Also the moon this morning is beyond beautiful. It's big, low and a creamy yellow. It's a proper 'wow, how amazing is this system we live in?' moment.

valentine DIY project
Yesterday was one of those 'everything's happening today' kinda days. Tuesdays are so much better than Mondays arent they?! The lovely Eden at Sugar and Charm asked me to knock up a valentine DIY project for her which she put up on her blog yesterday. It's a very easy, very quick project which incorporates my love of felt! Go take a look and get crafty people.
Also thanks to Jennifer & Megan at Hi, Friend. I won their competition with some invaluable advice on a forthcoming New Zealand trip. It's all about the soap operas ladies!
Fingers are crossed for an equally good Wednesday.

Apparently, according to this I am no longer a Scorpio, I am now in the zone of Libra. The World is bored where it is and apparently it's on the move, taking with it all of our personality traits and everything. Rude.

the collaboration shop
As I've mentioned before I have collaborated with a good friend of mine, Jennie (aka Jenipen), to create some poetry/illustration hybrids. We have now set up a shop specifically for these items so please go take a look around...it won't take you long...it's only new = not much in there yet!
Just added is the above valentine card. How appropriate?!
how does your garden grow
When I get myself a garden again it will be a wild little bit of land. The most beautiful, natural collection of haphazard flowering for the least amount of work.
I can't wait for Spring.

reading this
whilst
cuddling this (aka Ginny-Wok)...yes...another dog!
Have a good weekend folks. See you on the other side!

don't forget...
balloon obsession?
I think a may have a small balloon obsession brewing as I find myself ever increasingly drawn towards all things balloon. Take for example this Take Flight illustration by Oliver Lake. I could look at it for a very long time. It's like peeking into one of those Victorian What The Butler Saw attractions! Available for purchase at Etsy.
See further evidence here.

Last night Auntie Foxy made a birthday card for a friends son who turns 3 years old on Monday. Like all boys he likes rockets, well at least he did, he's probably into monster trucks or something by now. I thought I'd share a sneek peek of the work in progress.
